Luxury trips involve large commitments. Understand these terms before you confirm anything.
Cancellation
Most luxury hotels allow free cancellation up to 30 to 60 days out. Later, penalties can reach 50% within 30 days and 100% within 7.
Travel insurance
Essential. Cover cancellation, interruption, medical emergencies and baggage loss, typically at 5% to 10% of the trip value.
Passport and visa
Your passport needs six months of validity. Non-Singaporeans should check Indonesian visa rules before booking.

Is it better to book a resort direct or through an agent?
Direct booking often gives the best rates and exclusive packages. A specialist agent can add upgrades, resort credits and access to deals not publicly advertised.
Can I get a refund if my flight is canceled?
Non-refundable business fares usually allow changes for a fee plus any fare difference. Outright cancellations often return credit vouchers, not cash.
Do non-Singaporeans need a visa for Bali?
Many nationalities qualify for a Visa on Arrival of up to 30 days, about USD 35 or IDR 500,000, which can be extended once.
How early should I arrive at Changi?
At least 3 hours before an international departure, leaving time for premium check-in and the lounge.
What is a Cancel for Any Reason policy?
An insurance add-on that costs more but gives the broadest cancellation protection. Read the fine print, including force majeure clauses.
